Please accept our sincerest thanks for your support of the 1st Karen’s Kids Golf Outing. We raised $10,057 after expenses, which has been given to Arongen to help children in need at the school. Obviously, this result exceeded our wildest expectations and we are very grateful to you and all of our golfers, sponsors, donors and volunteers.

The 26th of July started off with rain and an ominous forecast, but by tee off, the skies were clear ing and we were able to play the full tournament in improving, beautiful weather. We had 21 golf foursomes and they were joined at the banquet by another 15 people. The food was great, the service gracious and attentive and the raffle was very successful. It was great to catch up with friends, neighbors and co-workers and to meet some new people. It was a wonderful day.

We can’t think of a better way to celebrate Karen’s life than by playing golf on her birthday to raise money for the children she loved to help. Everyone’s participation and generosity was certainly a reflection of the love we all have for Karen and this great cause.
